Chris Dozier

Chris joined as co-owner of Standard Title in March 2020 and serves as Vice President and Deal Counsel. He also serves as In-House counsel to Standard Title affiliate York Standard AMC, a joint venture with Raleigh’s York Properties. In 2014 Chris founded the Dozier Law Firm, PLLC in Raleigh, North Carolina. While in private practice, Chris assisted his clients with the purchase, sale and refinance of commercial and residential assets. His real estate experience includes escrow, drafting residential and commercial documents, reviewing loan closing documents and matters of title. In addition, Chris has extensive litigation experience and has successfully represented numerous clients in state courts across North Carolina. Prior to starting his law firm, Chris spent nearly five years serving the citizens of Wake County as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting cases before judges and juries. 

Chris is a graduate of Broughton High School, NC State University (B.A., Business Administration and Management) and the Charleston School of Law. Chris is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is a member of the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association. 

When not at Standard Title, Chris loves spending time with his wife, their two children and black lab. Chris also enjoys spending time in the outdoors or on the water and anywhere at the coast.
