STEC will secure your 1031 exchange funds, confirm all disbursements with you or your attorney – only you or your attorney can authorize the disbursement of any exchange funds – and accurately document and process your transaction.

The exchange funds of STEC’s clients are deposited in FDIC-insured institutions with investment grade ratings for each exchange STEC executes. The accounts are segregated bank deposit accounts designated with the taxpayer’s name and tax identification number – exchange funds are never commingled with the exchange funds of other clients. STEC is fully insured with errors and omissions insurance coverage and we maintain a fidelity bond from a leading insurance underwriter.

Interest-Bearing Accounts

STEC has strong relationships with FDIC-insured depository institutions and we can negotiate above-market interest rates for our 1031 exchange clients.
